These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites<\/strong> website, as well as the conditions applicable to bookings, stays and use of the facilities.<\/p>\n

By making a booking, using the website or staying at the accommodation, the guest declares that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.<\/p>\n

    1. Purpose<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      These Terms & Conditions govern:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • access to and use of the Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites website;<\/li>\n
      • the conditions of booking and stay at the accommodation;<\/li>\n
      • the rights and duties of the operating entity and guests;<\/li>\n
      • the rules for the use of the facilities, equipment and services provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        1. Bookings<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          3.1. Booking request and confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Bookings may be made through the website, partner booking platforms, telephone contact, email or other channels made available by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites.<\/p>\n

          A booking shall only be deemed valid and confirmed after:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • receipt of the booking request;<\/li>\n
          • confirmation of availability;<\/li>\n
          • payment of a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total booking amount<\/strong>, unless specific conditions have been agreed in writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            3.2. Guest details<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The guest undertakes to provide complete, accurate and up-to-date information at the time of booking, including name, contact details and any other information necessary to formalise the stay.<\/p>\n

            3.3. Changes to the booking<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Any request to change dates, occupancy, suite type or any other booking conditions is subject to availability and acceptance by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites, and may result in a price change.<\/p>\n

            1. Prices and payments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              4.1. Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n

              The prices shown on the website or on other booking channels correspond to the cost of the stay and may vary depending on the season, suite type, occupancy, promotional campaigns or other specific applicable conditions.<\/p>\n

              Unless otherwise stated, prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.<\/p>\n

              4.2. Taxes and additional charges<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Taxes or other charges legally applicable, namely tourist tax where applicable, may be added to the booking amount.<\/p>\n

              4.3. Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n

              Booking confirmation is subject to payment of a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total stay amount<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

              The remaining balance must be paid under the conditions communicated to the guest at the time of booking or, in the absence of any different indication, by check-in.<\/p>\n

              Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites accepts the payment methods made available during the booking process or communicated directly to the guest.<\/p>\n

              1. Cancellation policy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                5.1. Free cancellation<\/strong><\/p>\n

                The guest may cancel the booking free of charge up to 2 (two) days before<\/strong> the check-in date, with the right to a full refund of the deposit paid.<\/p>\n

                5.2. Late cancellation<\/strong><\/p>\n

                If the booking is cancelled less than 2 (two) days<\/strong> before the check-in date, Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites reserves the right to charge an amount corresponding to 100% of the first night of the booking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                5.3. No-show<\/strong><\/p>\n

                In the event of a no-show on the scheduled check-in date, without prior notice, an amount corresponding to 100% of the first night of the booking<\/strong> shall be due.<\/p>\n

                5.4. Early departure<\/strong><\/p>\n

                Early departure at the guest\u2019s initiative shall not entitle the guest to any refund for unused nights, unless expressly decided otherwise by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites.<\/p>\n

                1. Check-in and check-out<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  6.1. Check-in time<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Check-in may take place from 3:00 p.m.<\/strong> on the arrival date.<\/p>\n

                  6.2. Check-out time<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Check-out must take place by 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> on the departure date.<\/p>\n

                  6.3. Late arrival<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  The guest must inform Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites in advance if they expect to arrive outside the usual check-in hours, so that the possibility of reception can be assessed.<\/p>\n

                  6.4. Late check-out \/ early check-in<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  Requests for late check-out<\/strong> or early check-in<\/strong> are always subject to the unit\u2019s availability and prior acceptance by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites, and may imply an additional charge.<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Rules for use of the accommodation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    7.1. Capacity and occupancy<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Each booking is valid only for the number of guests indicated and confirmed at the time of booking. Entry or stay of unregistered persons may be refused or subject to an additional charge.<\/p>\n

                    7.2. Minors<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Children are accepted at Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites. Minors must always be accompanied and remain under the responsibility of their parents, legal guardians or responsible adults, namely in common areas, stairways, swimming pool and other areas of the property.<\/p>\n

                    7.3. Pets<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Pets are not allowed at Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites, unless otherwise required by law.<\/p>\n

                    7.4. Smoking<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation, including suites, corridors, bathrooms and all other indoor areas.
                    Smoking is only allowed in suitable outdoor areas designated for that purpose.<\/p>\n

                    7.5. Parties and events<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Parties, events or activities that disturb the normal operation of the accommodation or the rest of other guests are not permitted, unless previously authorised expressly and in writing by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites.<\/p>\n

                    7.6. Quiet hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    In order to ensure the comfort and rest of all guests, quiet hours must be respected between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    7.7. Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Guests undertake to use the accommodation prudently, respectfully and in compliance with the law, refraining from behaviour that may cause damage, nuisance, disturbance or risk to third parties, the property or the unit\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. Swimming pool and outdoor areas<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      8.1. Pool opening hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      The swimming pool may be used between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.<\/strong>, unless otherwise indicated for operational, technical, weather-related, safety or maintenance reasons.<\/p>\n

                      8.2. Use by minors<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Minors may only use the swimming pool under the permanent supervision of a responsible adult.<\/p>\n

                      8.3. Responsibility for use<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Use of the swimming pool and outdoor areas is the sole responsibility of guests, who must comply with all safety, hygiene and proper use rules applicable to the space.<\/p>\n

                      8.4. Temporary closure<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites may temporarily close the swimming pool or other leisure areas for maintenance, cleaning, safety, weather conditions or force majeure, without such closure entitling the guest to compensation.<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      1. Breakfast, cleaning and additional services<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        9.1. Breakfast<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Breakfast is included in the stay, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
                        The service is provided at the time and place defined by Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites and communicated to the guest at check-in or in advance.<\/p>\n

                        9.2. Cleaning<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Suite cleaning during the stay is not carried out automatically on a daily basis and may be provided upon guest request<\/strong>, subject to the unit\u2019s operational organisation.<\/p>\n

                        For stays of 5 (five) nights<\/strong>, one intermediate cleaning service will be carried out halfway through the stay, unless exceptional operational reasons prevent it.<\/p>\n

                        9.3. Additional services<\/strong><\/p>\n

                        Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites may provide additional services subject to availability and extra payment, namely:<\/p>\n

                          \n
                        • bicycle rental \u2014 \u20ac5.00<\/strong><\/li>\n
                        • billiards \u2014 \u20ac4.00 per hour<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          The prices of additional services shall be those in force on the date they are requested or used.<\/p>\n

                            \n
                          1. Liability for damages<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            10.1. Guest liability<\/strong><\/p>\n

                            The guest is responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their companions, minors under their responsibility or authorised visitors, in the suite, common areas, furniture, equipment, decoration or any other property of Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites.<\/p>\n

                            10.2. Communication and charging<\/strong><\/p>\n

                            In the event of damage, breakage, loss, abnormal deterioration, excessive dirt or misuse of the facilities, Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites reserves the right to charge the guest for repair, replacement, extraordinary cleaning costs or compensation for the damage caused.<\/p>\n

                              \n
                            1. Personal belongings<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                              Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites shall not be held liable for theft, loss, misplacement or damage to guests\u2019 personal belongings, valuables, documents, money or other property, except where liability is legally attributable to it.<\/p>\n

                                \n
                              1. Right of admission and termination of stay<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites reserves the right to refuse, limit or cancel the stay of any guest who:<\/p>\n

                                  \n
                                • breaches these Terms & Conditions;<\/li>\n
                                • behaves in an aggressive, offensive, dangerous or disruptive manner;<\/li>\n
                                • causes damage to the property;<\/li>\n
                                • repeatedly disturbs the rest of other guests;<\/li>\n
                                • commits unlawful acts or acts contrary to public order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                  In such cases, immediate departure from the accommodation may be required, without entitlement to a refund and without prejudice to any civil or criminal liability that may apply.<\/p>\n

                                    \n
                                  1. Force majeure<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                    Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites shall not be liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from unforeseeable or unavoidable events, including natural disasters, fires, power failures, strikes, pandemics, public authority orders, legal restrictions, supply disruptions or other force majeure situations.<\/p>\n

                                      \n
                                    1. Personal data protection<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                      Guests\u2019 personal data are processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all other applicable national legislation.<\/p>\n

                                      The data collected in connection with bookings, contacts or stays will be used for:<\/p>\n

                                        \n
                                      • booking management and provision of contracted services;<\/li>\n
                                      • invoicing and compliance with legal obligations;<\/li>\n
                                      • communication with guests;<\/li>\n
                                      • compliance with legal duties of registration and reporting to the competent authorities;<\/li>\n
                                      • service improvement, where applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                        1. Intellectual property<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                          All content made available on the Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites website, including texts, photographs, logos, images, graphic elements and design, unless otherwise stated, is the property of Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites or is used with the authorisation of the respective rights holders, and is protected by intellectual property rights.<\/p>\n

                                          Any reproduction, distribution, modification, commercial use or disclosure of any content without prior written authorisation is prohibited.<\/p>\n

                                            \n
                                          1. Complaints Book and dispute resolution<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                            In accordance with the applicable legislation, Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites provides a Complaints Book<\/strong>, in physical and\/or electronic format, as legally required.<\/p>\n

                                            In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may resort to a legally competent Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution<\/strong> entity.<\/p>\n

                                            1. Changes to the Terms & Conditions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                              Villa Lij\u00f3 Suites reserves the right to alter, update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, with such changes being published on the website and entering into force on the date of publication.<\/p>\n

                                              1. Applicable law and competent court<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                                These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                                                Any disputes arising from the interpretation, application or performance of these Terms & Conditions shall be submitted to the legally competent court<\/strong>, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules and legally applicable alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.<\/p>\n
